The St. Petersburg Sunshine Music Festival is Saturday, Jan 16th at Vinoy Park in downtown St. Petersburg. General admission tickets are $49 for the day, and the headline acts are The Indigo Girls and Tedeschi Trucks Band. A full show schedule can be found here.
The Sunshine Music Festival is sponsored by Lagunitas Brewing Company and features some great craft beers, a full service wine bar, and fantastic food from a dozen food trucks, including BBQ, Mexican, Thai, Japanese, seafood, and more. The weather forecast is for a cool but bright, sunny day, so it should be a great event down on the water in Vinoy Park.
The only drawback to an event at Vinoy Park is of course, parking. Event parking is expensive, and the closest public parking garage is nine or ten blocks away and fills up fast. You can try to find a free parking spot in the narrow streets of the Old Northeast and hope your car doesn’t get towed or sideswiped, but the best plan is to call Downtown Yellow Taxi. We can take you safely to and from the event, and that way, you can take advantage of the craft brewers and wine bar at the festival. Or, if you are parking at one of the downtown parking garages, we can be your quick, comfortable, and personal shuttle to and from your car. Call us! We are based in downtown St. Petersburg, so we’ll probably be there in less than five minutes. 727 379-4440.
