Tampa Bay Blues Festival at Vinoy Park Downtown St. Petersburg

The Tampa Bay Blues fest returns this weekend to Vinoy Park in downtown St. Petersburg, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Now in its’ 21st year, this great festival attracts great musicians and blues fans from across the country. Some of the bigger names appearing this year are Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Aaron Neville, Walter Trout, JJ Grey & Mofo, Sugar Ray and the Bluetones, and Tommy Castro and the Painkillers. There is a kickoff party at The Palladium Thursday the 7th featuring Victor Wainwright and the Wildroots- tickets are only $20, and this event sold out last year. There are also aftershow concerts and parties at The Palladium on Friday and Saturday nights as well. Complete information and advance tickets can be found here.

This would a pretty busy weekend downtown without the Tampa Bay Blues Festival; lots of concerts and shows downtown this weekend, and parking will be scarce and/or expensive. You can try to find free parking in the Old Northeast neighborhood and walking for blocks, but why risk getting towed or having someone scrape and ding you car in those narrow streets? Downtown Yellow Taxi can pick you up and deliver you to the entrance of the Blues Festival, quick, safe, and easy. Let us be your Tampa Bay Blues Festival taxi! Call us at 727 379-4440, and let us get you to and from the show safely and efficiently.
