A cool event is happening this coming Thursday; the 2016 Good ‘Burgers Awards takes place at Jannus Live from 6 pm to 9 pm. A Good ‘Burger is a company, organization, or a person making a positive impact in the community. This event was created to honor members of the Chamber of Commerce who contribute to making St. Petersburg a great place to live. Awards are given in several categories, including “Eats & Treats”, “Hotspots & Hangouts”, “Cool Companies”, and more. This will be a fun, casual, happy hour event, with an afterparty at Mandarin Hide. Tickets to the Good ‘Burgers Awards are available HERE.
Then, Friday night is First Friday, the party that made St. Pete famous. As always, the party starts at 5:30 pm, and this month the Gamble Creek Band will be on the Big Sea Stage. And as always, admission is free, the music will be loud, and there will be great food and drink presented by our downtown bars, restaurants, and vendors.
And as always, the police will be out in force. Don’t risk a DUI, and don’t battle for parking. Call Downtown Yellow Taxi for a safe, quick, and comfortable ride to the Good ‘Burgers Awards and First Friday! call us at 727 379-4440, and save our number in your phone, so a safe ride is always at your fingertips!
